Aoife O’Neill
The Midnight Disco

The Midnight Disco are proud to announce our biggest party to date. This Halloween, we have the honour and the pleasure of taking over District 8, the largest electronic music venue in the country to bring you a line up of our favourite artists both from home and abroad🌐

Now in its 4th year, The Midnight Disco has had the pleasure of hosting amazing parties everywhere from Dublin to Berlin. At the core of The Midnight Disco is a desire to showcase talent from both our own shores and further afield that is often over looked🎃

There are few names in dance music that have managed to retain such respect and mass appreciation as Randomer. Following on from a headline show at Fuinneamh festival, Randomer is truly an Irish favourite. With a career spanning over a decade, Randomer’s sound has constantly changed and developed keeping him permanently at the forefront of music. With releases on labels such as L.I.E.S, Hessle Audio, Numbers and Clone, Randomer is one of the most diverse and creative artists of recent years.

Lsdxoxo is a force to be reckoned with. Marrying elements of R’n’B with the driving intensity of techno, he has turned heads and ignited dance floors since his debut release. With his wild manipulation of mainstream sounds, often applying sex positive narratives to pop culture LSDXOXO has played some of the most revered spaces in the world including Berghain / Panorama Bar and De School.

Joining our two international guests on the night are some of our favourite collectives and artists in Ireland. Aoife O’Neill is one of Ireland’s most celebrated deejays, supporting everyone from Avalon Emerson to Bradley Zero.

Along with Aoife we are joined by two collectives that have really made waves in recent times, the perplexingly eccentric Thrust and the high-octane Notions, who have both thrown some of the wildest parties we’ve seen in Dublin of recent years.

For this very special event, we have invited some of our favourite artists from NCAD to create an installation that will transform District 8. You can find their statement and Instagram handles below x

“The installation for The Midnight Disco’s Halloween Party at District 8 will feature visual delights that will match the thumping, nightmarish and terrifying sounds of the night.

Taking inspiration from classic horror films, the theme is ‘slaughterhouse’. PVC curtains, bloody meathooks and churning machinery…

This year on Halloween night, industrial machine meets industrial sound as District 8 is given a total transformation.”

The costume theme for the night is ‘THE FEAR’. We want you to dress as the thing that scares you the most. Be it the monster hiding under your bed, or something abstract and unattainable, there will be many prizes for those who show creativity🎭

We will be running multiple buses from various city centre locations. More details to follow.
